Cindy Brown is the Chief Executive Officer of Boston Duck Tours.
Cindy Brown graduated from Franklin & Marshall College with a degree in Economics and a minor in Government. After college, Cindy worked for The Boston Company, an investment banking firm, for four years as a Financial Communications Analyst, Mutual Fund Product Manager and Assistant Vice President. Just before Boston Duck Tours opened in 1994, she was hired as Marketing and Sales Director responsible for creating and implementing the company’s marketing and sales strategy. In February 1997, Cindy was promoted to General Manager of Boston Duck Tours, and is currently responsible for managing a staff of over 140 employees and all aspects of the company. When founder Andy Wilson left the company, Cindy assumed his role as President of SEAWEED INCORPORATED, General Partner for Boston Duck Tours and later CEO of the company.
In 2010 she began working with a current Boston Duck Tour investor to open Frost Ice Bar. This newest attraction in Boston opened in September 2013 and Cindy served as CEO until a full time employee was hired in May 2014.
Cindy volunteers her time with college students in the Boston area as a mentor and guest speaker in various business classes. She also spends time volunteering with the Charles River Clean Up Boat, the Boston Public Library and the Home Base Program for Veterans. She currently resides in Boston with her husband Colin McKenna and their son Colton.
