The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) announced the winners of the July Advantage Boston Taxi Rewards program at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC). The program allows BCEC convention and event attendees the opportunity to evaluate taxi driver satisfaction, and reward good customer service by entering cab drivers’ names into a monthly drawing to receive $500.00.

The MCCA awards cab driver Mohamed A. Yassin of Dorchester with $500.00 from the July Advantage Boston Taxi Rewards program.

Taxi driver Sher Khan of Medford is rewarded $500.00 from the MCCA’s July Advantage Boston Taxi Rewards program.

Rooney (center), Executive Director of the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority, recently welcomed the four recipients of the MCCA Hospitality Scholarship to the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center, presenting them each with an academic reward of $2,500. The winners, all of whom are pursuing an education in the field of hospitality, were selected by an internal committee of the MCCA from this year’s competitive collection of scholarship applications.
